Gage Calibration
Need to send your gages in for recertification?Winchester offers calibration services for any gage we sell, and many that we don’t. We strive for fast turnarounds, affordable pricing, and customer satisfaction.
Why Do You Need to Calibrate Your Gages?
The best reason to have an effective gage verification program is to save money. Gages provide definition to your operation. What material do you use and what do you scrap. What material must be added to renew a contour. These are all money decisions that a profit driven organization should want to control. A non-conforming gage can be costly, sending good material to the scrap pile and junk to your best customer. Bottom line is that when you control your gages, you have taken a major step toward controlling your process and costs.

Additionally, before sending gages in, please remove any weld slag and wipe them clean from any grease. If gages require excessive cleaning before we can put them on our metrology equipment, a cleaning cost at the rate of $150/hour will be added to your invoice.
Feel free to print and use this packing list template to include with your gages:
How much does it cost?
